Charlie Cox Confirms No Daredevil Appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Charlie Cox recently addressed the ongoing speculation about Daredevil's potential appearance in the upcoming Marvel film, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Despite the connections between Daredevil and characters like Punisher and The Hand in the MCU, Cox has made it clear that he will not be appearing in the film. During the BAFTA Games Awards, Cox firmly stated that he is not involved in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, shutting down any hopes of his character's cameo.
When asked about a scene in the teaser trailer where Spider-Man confronts members of The Hand, Cox maintained that he was not part of the film unless he was digitally inserted later on. Despite expressing interest in his character teaming up with Spider-Man in the past, Cox reiterated that he is not part of the upcoming movie.
Cox had previously denied Daredevil's involvement in Spider-Man: Brand New Day during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Even though he hinted at a potential appearance in the film, he remained tight-lipped about any possible role. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, with Tom Holland reprising his role as the titular character alongside a star-studded cast.
