Meet Harissoum Coulibaly: The Newest Addition to the Lady Vols Basketball Team

The Lady Vols basketball team has recently added Auburn guard Harissoum Coulibaly to its transfer portal class. Coulibaly, a freshman from Paris, France, brings three years of eligibility to the team. She had a strong freshman season at Auburn, averaging 10.4 points per game and contributing in rebounds, assists, and steals. Coulibaly was also a highly regarded prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, with previous visits to VCU, Georgia, and Virginia Tech.
Before her time at Auburn, Coulibaly played high school basketball at S3 Academy in Bristol, Virginia, where she showcased her skills on the court. She also had experience playing for Mondeville U18 in France and the Cap City Ballerz, winning the Nike EYCL U17 championship with the latter. Coulibaly's addition to the Lady Vols' roster marks the sixth commitment in the transfer portal cycle, joining other talented players like Avery Mills, Naomi White, Harper Peterson, Zhen Craft, and Rylie Theuerkauf.
Despite the changes in the coaching staff and roster, the Lady Vols have managed to secure commitments from top recruits like Gabby Minus and Irene Oboavwoduo. The team is looking to build a competitive roster for the upcoming season with a mix of experienced transfers and incoming freshmen. The addition of Coulibaly adds depth and talent to the Lady Vols' lineup, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead.
