Royal-inspired Mother's Day Collection: Meghan Markle's Tribute to Archie and Lilibet

The Duchess of Sussex has introduced a special Mother’s Day collection for her lifestyle brand, drawing inspiration from her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Despite facing criticism for using her children for profit, the new collection is set to launch on April 22. The collection will include candles inspired by her children, similar to previous candles inspired by the Sussexes' wedding day and Meghan's birthday.
One of the candles, Signature Candle No. 506, is dedicated to Archie’s May 6 birthday and is named “Prince Archie of Sussex’s Birthdate.” The scent is described as warm and comforting, with notes of ginger, neroli, and cashmere. Another candle, Signature Candle No. 604, is inspired by Lilibet’s June 4 birthday and is named “Princess Lilibet of Sussex’s Birthdate.” This candle features a light, floral scent with notes of amber, water lily, and santal.
Meghan has been actively sharing her children on social media, especially during her brand drops for As Ever. This move has raised concerns about whether she is exploiting her children for publicity. Royal author Phil Dampier expressed his views on Meghan’s strategy, suggesting that the Palace might disapprove of her actions.
In an interview with People Magazine, Meghan Markle discussed the significance of the Sussex name for her family, especially now that they have children. She emphasized the importance of sharing the Sussex name as a family and how it has become a meaningful connection for her, Archie, Lilibet, and Harry.
As Mother's Day approaches in the United States on May 10, 2026, Meghan’s Mother’s Day collection is a thoughtful tribute to her role as a mother and her love for her children. The candles inspired by Archie and Lilibet add a personal touch to the collection, reflecting Meghan’s deep connection to her family.
