Amazon Music Partners with BTS for Exclusive In-Venue Tour Merchandise Experience

Amazon Music has announced a partnership with BTS to be the exclusive in-venue tour merchandise partner for the group's North American tour. Throughout the tour, Amazon will utilize its Just Walk Out checkout technology, allowing fans to easily purchase merchandise without waiting in line. The RFID exit lanes will automatically read tags on merchandise, enabling fans to grab items, head to an exit lane, and tap their card for a seamless checkout experience.

Julia Heiser, head of live merch at Amazon Music, expressed excitement about providing ARMY, one of the most passionate music communities, with a merch experience that matches their energy. This marks the first time that checkout-free technology will be deployed at this scale for a North American stadium tour, setting a new standard in live music merchandising.

In addition to indoor merchandise shopping areas, Amazon Music will have booths set up outside the venue. Exclusive pre-sales leading up to each tour stop and early access to shops in select cities will be available to fans. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase city-specific merch, adding to the excitement of the tour.

BTS will kick off their North American tour on April 25 in Tampa, with a total of 31 shows in 12 regions. Their latest album, ARIRANG, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, further adding to the anticipation surrounding the tour. The collaboration between Amazon Music and BTS promises a unique and convenient merchandising experience for fans throughout the tour.
