Remembering Jordan Wright: A Tragic Loss and Ongoing Investigation
Jordan Wright, a former member of The Only Way Is Essex, was tragically found dead in a drainage ditch in Thailand. The 33-year-old from Stanford-le-Hope in Essex was discovered in Phuket province on March 14. According to the court co-ordinator, Matthew Austin, Wright was spending time in Thailand when he was found in the drainage ditch off Bang Thao 2 Alley, Choeng Thale sub-district, Thalang district, Phuket province. Following his discovery, he was repatriated to Essex for a post-mortem examination at Basildon Hospital, where the cause of death was recorded as pending toxicology results. The inquest into his death was opened and adjourned by Essex senior coroner Lincoln Brookes until a substantive hearing on September 14.
