Man from Eugene, Oregon, Admits to Sex Trafficking a Minor: Details and Legal Consequences

A man from Eugene, Oregon, has admitted to sex trafficking a minor. Anthony D'Montrez Crawford, 30, was involved in trafficking a 17-year-old girl in Eugene and Springfield from July to August 2024. He and his wife placed online ads for commercial sex services for the teenager and arranged sexual encounters through phone and text messages. Crawford even took the girl to Seattle twice for prostitution activities. He has been charged with sex trafficking of a child and could face a life sentence, a minimum of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and five years of supervised release. Crawford's sentencing is scheduled for August 19 in front of a U.S. district court judge.
