Peter Frampton: A Rock & Roll Legend's Journey

April 22, 1950 marks the birth of legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Peter Frampton in Beckenham, Kent, England. Frampton gained fame as a member of The Herd and later co-founded Humble Pie with Steve Marriott. Transitioning to a solo career in 1971, he released his debut solo album, "Wind of Change," in 1972. However, it was his iconic live album, "Frampton Comes Alive!," released in 1976, that propelled him to stardom. The album topped the charts for 10 weeks and featured hits like "Show Me the Way," "Baby, I Love Your Way," and "Do You Feel Like We Do."
After more than 25 years of eligibility, Frampton was finally inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2024. Despite facing health challenges, including a diagnosis of inclusion body myositis in 2019, Frampton has persevered in his music career. He is gearing up to release a new album, "Carry the Light," on May 15 and a documentary titled "Frampton" will premiere at the Tribeca Festival on June 4. Peter Frampton's enduring talent and resilience continue to inspire fans around the world.
