Apple TV has released the official trailer for Star City, a new alt-history space race drama series that is a spinoff of For All Mankind. Created by Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert, and Ronald D. Moore, Star City offers a unique perspective on the space race, focusing on the Soviet Union's role in the historic event. The series is described as a propulsive paranoid thriller that delves into the lives of cosmonauts, engineers, and intelligence officers within the Soviet space program as they strive to push humanity forward. The show features a talented cast including Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin, Agnes O’Casey, and more. Wolpert and Nedivi are the showrunners and executive producers, with Moore, Maril Davis, Andrew Chambliss, and Steve Oster also serving as executive producers. Star City, produced by Sony Pictures Television, will premiere globally on Apple TV with two episodes on Friday, May 29, followed by weekly releases until July 10.
