Milwaukee Bucks Set to Hire Taylor Jenkins as New Head Coach: A Return to Success

The Milwaukee Bucks are reportedly in the final stages of hiring Taylor Jenkins, the former head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies, as their new head coach. Jenkins previously served as an assistant coach for the Bucks before taking on the head coaching role with the Grizzlies in 2019. During his time with the Grizzlies, Jenkins achieved notable success, including being named the Western Conference's Coach of the Month on multiple occasions and leading the team to the playoffs three times. Despite his accomplishments, Jenkins was let go by the Grizzlies in March of 2025, paving the way for his return to Milwaukee as the successor to Doc Rivers, who had a mixed record during his tenure with the Bucks. With this new coaching appointment, the Bucks are looking to build on their recent successes and continue their pursuit of excellence in the NBA.
