Warner Bros. is set to release the adaptation of Emily Brontë's timeless novel, "Wuthering Heights," on HBO Max starting May 1. The film will also air on HBO linear on May 2 at 8 p.m. ET. An American Sign Language version will be available exclusively on HBO Max, featuring ASL Dubbers Leila Hanaumi and Giovanni Maucere, directed by Justin Jackerson. This marks the first romance title with ASL dubbing on HBO Max. Directed by Emerald Fennell, the R-rated drama stars Margot Robbie as Catherine Earnshaw and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff, portraying the intense love story with a focus on erotic and psychological tension. The supporting cast includes Shazad Latif, Martin Clunes, Charlotte Mellington, Owen Cooper, Hong Chau, and Alison Oliver. Margot Robbie collaborates with Fennell for the first time in this film, following her executive production of "Promising Young Woman" and "Saltburn." Jacob Elordi is set to star in "Euphoria" Season 3 on HBO Max and received an Oscar nomination for his role in "Frankenstein." The film has grossed $241 million worldwide, with critics having mixed opinions on Fennell's bold interpretation, praising the chemistry between Robbie and Elordi.
