Former Florida State Running Back Roydell Williams Set to Showcase Skills at Tennessee Titans Rookie Minicamp

The 2026 NFL Draft saw former Florida State Seminole Darrell Jackson, Jr. drafted by the New York Jets. Other former 'Noles are also getting opportunities in the NFL, with one running back, Roydell Williams, set to participate in the Tennessee Titans' rookie minicamp next month. Williams transferred to Florida State from Alabama in 2024 and will now have a chance to showcase his skills in Nashville.

Williams will join the Titans' Rookie Minicamp in early May after a collegiate career that saw him accumulate over 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns. The Titans already have a strong running back group, including Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears, but Williams could provide valuable depth. He will be trying out alongside former FSU teammate Tommy Castellanos, who is also drawing interest from the Titans as a wide receiver.

The Titans have been looking to improve their offensive line, particularly in run blocking. They made some additions in the later rounds of the draft to address this issue, but Williams could also contribute to the team's ground game. Standing at 5'9'' and 215 pounds, Williams is known for his downhill running style and goal-line potential. If he can stay healthy and impress during the minicamp, he may earn a spot on the Titans' roster and provide valuable depth at the running back position.
