Spider-Noir Unveils Shocking Man-Spider Bite in New Trailer

A fresh trailer for Spider-Noir has been unveiled, giving viewers a glimpse of the upcoming Prime Video series, featuring the introduction of Man-Spider. The sight of Man-Spider biting Nicolas Cage’s character sparked shock and horror among fans, with many expressing their reactions on social media. Some fans now understand why Sony and Marvel Studios decided not to include the character in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The new Spider-Noir trailer showcases Man-Spider's gruesome appearance as he sinks his teeth into the arm of the protagonist, leaving fans unsettled. Social media was abuzz with comments like, “THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I DIDN’T WANT HIM IN BRAND NEW DAY. DEAR LORD,” and GIFs expressing disgust and horror flooded the platforms.

In addition to Man-Spider, the trailer also introduces Silvermane, Sandman, and Megawatt, played by Brendan Gleeson, Jack Huston, and Andrew Lewis Caldwell, respectively. It hints at the personal struggles of Ben Reilly and teases a potential romance between Reilly and Cat Hardy, portrayed by Li Jun Li.

Spider-Noir is set to premiere on MGM+ on May 25, 2026, followed by the global release of all eight episodes on Amazon Prime Video on May 27. Subscribers will have the option to watch the series in either black-and-white or full color. The show follows the story of Ben Reilly, a former superhero turned private investigator in 1930s New York, as he confronts his past and navigates the challenges of his dual identity.
