Blue Jays Trade Infielder Tyler Fitzgerald to Dodgers for Cash Considerations
The Toronto Blue Jays have made a trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers, sending infielder Tyler Fitzgerald in exchange for cash considerations. Fitzgerald, who was previously acquired from the San Francisco Giants, did not play any games for Toronto and was later optioned to Triple-A Buffalo before being designated for assignment. Originally drafted by the Giants in the fourth round of the 2019 MLB Draft, Fitzgerald spent three seasons with the team, batting .217 with four home runs and 14 RBI in 2025.
