Daniele Paunksnyte: A Rising Star Joins Boston College Women's Basketball
Boston College women's basketball has added 5-10 guard Daniele Paunksnyte from Lithuania to its roster. Head coach Kate Popovec-Goss praised Paunksnyte's international experience and scoring ability, highlighting her as a valuable addition to the team. Paunksnyte most recently played in the WBBL with Kibirkstis Vilnius, where she had impressive stats during the 2025-26 season. She also represented Lithuania's U20 National Team from 2022-25, excelling in scoring, rebounding, and assists. At the 2025 FIBA U20 EuroBasket, Paunksnyte stood out as a top performer, setting a record with a 43-point game and helping Lithuania secure a silver medal.
