Ed Sheeran recently shared a health update on his Instagram account, revealing that he has been dealing with shingles for the past month. Shingles is a viral infection that causes a painful rash and is caused by the same virus that leads to chickenpox. While shingles can be very painful, it is not life-threatening and typically occurs in people over the age of 50. Sheeran also mentioned that he shaved his head as a symbol of a fresh start and is considering keeping the new look.

The Grammy-winning artist is currently on his Loop Tour, which began in January and will continue through December. After a brief hiatus, Sheeran is set to resume the tour with a performance at the Estadio Quisqueya in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He expressed his excitement about getting back on stage and reconnecting with his fans during the Latin America leg of the tour.

In a recent podcast interview, Sheeran provided an update on his wife Cherry Seaborn's health after she underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. Despite the challenges of the operation, which took place while she was pregnant with their second child, Seaborn is now doing well. The couple shares two daughters, Lyra and Jupiter, and Sheeran expressed gratitude that his wife is healthy and recovering.
