A Town in Nova Scotia: A Tale of Community and Companionship

Paradise City Sales has unveiled a sneak peek of the upcoming Liverpool-based drama "A Town in Nova Scotia," featuring Bill Nighy and Makram Khoury in lead roles. The story follows Irishman Leon, who contemplates moving to Nova Scotia following his wife's passing and embarks on a mission to improve the safety of his apartment building after a tragic fire in London. Alongside his neighbor Saleh, Leon disrupts the quiet lives of their fellow residents, exploring themes of community and companionship in later life.
Directed by Babak Jalali, known for his previous works like "Frontier Blues" and "Radio Dreams," the film delves into the choices we make in our later years and the people we choose to share them with. Co-written by Jalali and Carolina Cavalli, the movie boasts a talented crew including production designer Paulina Rzeszowska, cinematographer Crystel Fournier, and costume designer Jessica Schofield.
