A Visit to Grandpa's: Catherine Zeta-Jones Joins Anthony Hopkins in a Heartwarming Welsh Tale

Catherine Zeta-Jones has joined Anthony Hopkins in the upcoming film "A Visit to Grandpa’s," directed by DJ Caruso. The movie also features Aneurin Barnard, Artie Wilkinson-Hunt, Geraldine James, and Aimee-Ffion Edwards. Principal photography started in Wales on April 7, with WestEnd Films handling world sales and showcasing first footage at Cannes.
Based on a beloved short story by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, the film follows a young boy spending a summer with his eccentric grandfather on a remote Welsh farm. Instead of boredom, the boy discovers a world of imagination, chaos, and mischief, filled with outrageous stories and wonder.
The film is produced by Huw Penallt Jones, Hannah Leader, and Amory Leader, with key crew members including director of photography Gavin Struthers, production designer Tom Pearce, costume designer Tina Kalivas, and hair and makeup designer Deb Kenton. Hopkins is represented by UTA and Zeta-Jones by UTA, while Caruso is repped by UTA and Media Talent Group.
