McCain claimed that she was involved in the selection process for her successor on The View and suggested a list of women she thought would be suitable for the role, including Christian speaker Allie Beth Stuckey. She expressed disappointment with the choice of Griffin, stating that she does not represent conservative women and criticized her for admitting to voting for Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.
