Obsessed Fest: Prime Video's Ultimate YA Fan Experience
Prime Video is gearing up to captivate young adult audiences with its exciting lineup of YA programming. The streaming service has introduced a new initiative called Obsession Is In Session, highlighting its dedication to becoming the go-to destination for young adult viewers. At the heart of this initiative is Obsessed Fest, a one-day immersive fan event set to take place on June 27 in Los Angeles at nya Studios. This event will bring to life the passionate fandoms of popular upcoming titles like Every Year After, The Love Hypothesis, Elle, Off Campus, Overcompensating, Your Fault: London, Drawn Together, and more. Attendees can look forward to exclusive first looks, appearances by casts and creators, and various fan-focused activities.
Obsessed Fest promises a diverse range of experiences for attendees, including live talent-led sessions, exclusive footage, interactive fan moments, author signings, live conversations, workshops, and curated bookshelves in the literary lounge. Additionally, fans can step into recreated scenes from key titles and capture personalized photo and video moments in the cinematic content studios. The event will also feature a screening room, exclusive merchandise, food experiences inspired by on-screen moments, and communal fan spaces. Sue Kroll, head of marketing at Amazon MGM Studios, emphasized the importance of creating a space where fandom, storytelling, and genuine connection come together in a memorable and immersive way.
Leading up to the event, Prime Video released a teaser trailer showcasing their highly anticipated Prime Original YA series and films, such as Off Campus, Every Year After, Elle, Sterling Point, The Last Sunrise, The Love Hypothesis, The Devil’s Mouth, Maxton Hall Season 3, Drawn Together (Marfil), Your Fault: London, Perfectos Mentirosos, and Clashing Through the Snow. Obsessed Fest represents an expansion of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios' Prime Book Club, a global program that brings book-to-screen storytelling to audiences worldwide. This event will be the first live activation of the Prime Book Club, highlighting the voices of authors, talent, and creators involved in the streamer's book-to-screen adaptations.
