2026 Academy of Country Music Awards: Nominations, Host, and Performers Revealed

Get ready for the 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards, as they are set to take place on May 17 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Shania Twain will be hosting the awards for the first time, replacing Reba McEntire. The event will be streamed on Prime Video, the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, and the Amazon Music app at 8 p.m. EDT.
Leading the nominations this year is Megan Moroney with nine nods, followed by Miranda Lambert with eight, Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson with seven each. The entertainer of the year category includes Moroney, Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, and Morgan Wallen.
In the album of the year category, nominees include Wallen's "I'm the Problem," Top's "Ain't In It For My Health," Green's "Don't Mind If I Do," McCollum's self-titled album, and Faith's "Cherry Valley." There are also several first-time nominees in various categories.
This year's nominations showcase a strong presence of female artists, with Moroney, Lambert, Langley, and Wilson leading the pack. The industry seems to be making room for more female talent, as noted by country singer Ashley McBryde.
Unlike previous years, there isn't one dominant song this time around. The single of the year category features songs like Lambert and Stapleton's "A Song to Sing," Moroney's "Am I Okay?," Langley's "Choosin' Texas," Top's "I Never Lie," and Wilson's "Somewhere Over Laredo." The lineup of performers includes a diverse range of artists.
