Alexa and Carlos PenaVega: Dancing with the Stars Journey and Marriage Challenges
Alexa PenaVega and Carlos PenaVega were contestants on season 21 of Dancing with the Stars, where Alexa was partnered with Mark Ballas and Carlos with Witney Carson. The couple recently discussed their time on the show on the Two Be Continued podcast, revealing that Carlos felt jealous of Alexa's relationship with Ballas. Despite the challenges, they both found it to be a rewarding experience.
Carlos expressed gratitude for being able to participate in the show alongside Alexa, as it allowed him to understand the demands of the competition and the time spent with their dance partners. The couple, who met in 2012 and married in 2014, decided to combine their surnames to create the new last name, PenaVega. They have children born in 2016, 2019, and 2021, but also faced the heartbreaking loss of their fourth child in 2024. Despite the challenges they have faced, Alexa and Carlos continue to navigate the ups and downs of marriage and parenthood together.
