Addyson Kennedy: A Rising Star in the Music Industry

Addyson Kennedy, a 17-year-old musician, discovered her passion for music at the age of 8 and chose to pursue it over softball. She received music lessons in piano, guitar, and vocals at Jettway Performance in Bryant, a music school program founded by musician Zac Dunlap. The program not only enhanced her musical abilities but also provided her with opportunities to tour with a summer group. Addyson credits Jettway Performance for nurturing her love for music and teaching her about the music industry. This summer, she will tour various locations, including Colorado, Dallas, Branson, Panama City Beach, and Gulf Shores.

Despite the demands of her junior year at White Hall High School, Addyson is dedicated to her music career and plans to pursue a music business degree in college. She aspires to attend Belmont University in Nashville and focus on writing Christian music as a way to share her testimony. Faith plays a significant role in her life as a performer, and she emphasizes the importance of prayer before taking the stage with her fellow musicians. Addyson was nominated for Young Artist of the Year at the Arkansas Country Music Awards and expresses gratitude to God and her mentors at Jettway Performance for their support.

Addyson's goal is to inspire others to pursue their dreams and show that success is achievable with dedication and hard work. She aims to be a role model for aspiring musicians and hopes to continue writing music and recording in the future. Addyson's journey in the music industry reflects her passion for music and her commitment to sharing her faith through her artistry. Check out the full article in the May 2026 issue of AY Magazine.
