Presley Shipp: A Rising Star in the Music Industry

Presley Shipp, a talented singer, inherited her love for music from her father, who has been involved in music for many years. She discovered her passion for music at the age of 14 when she joined her church's worship team and took voice lessons to improve her skills. A pivotal moment in her musical journey was when she performed on stage in Nashville at the age of 15, sparking her love for performing live. Her father, who plays guitar alongside her, admires her talent and stage presence, describing their performances together as emotional and surreal.
Currently, Presley is focused on writing new music, performing at local shows, and balancing her college studies at the University of Arkansas-Pulaski Technical College and work at the River Center in Benton. While she dreams of a music career, she sees it more as a passion than a means to make money. Her family plays a significant role in her music journey, with her brother occasionally joining her on drums at shows, and plans to record her original songs in the studio with her father this year.
Recently nominated for Young Artist of the Year at the Arkansas Country Music Awards, Presley expressed gratitude to her supportive fan base for the recognition. She considers the nomination a significant achievement and an honor. Stay tuned for more about Presley Shipp in the May 2026 issue of AY Magazine.
