BTS's 'Swim' Makes Waves on Billboard Charts: A Look at the Latest Chart Success

BTS's latest single, "Swim," has been making waves on various Billboard charts for the past month. The track, from their comeback album Arirang, has been steadily climbing the charts, reaching the top 10 on some lists while slipping on others. On the Adult Pop Airplay chart, "Swim" has risen to No. 14, tying with BTS's previous hit, "Butter," as the fifth-highest-rising track by a K-pop group on the chart.

"Swim" has now joined "Butter" as one of the top five highest-rising tracks by a non-soloist in the K-pop genre on the Adult Pop Airplay chart. While there are four songs by K-pop groups that have achieved higher positions, BTS remains the only K-pop band with multiple top 10 hits on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, with "My Universe" and "Dynamite" also making the list.

Despite its success on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, "Swim" has seen declines on other radio rosters, including the Pop Airplay chart and the Radio Songs rundown. The song has also slipped on the Streaming Songs and Digital Song Sales charts, as well as the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Global charts, where it previously held the top spot.

While BTS may only have one radio hit in America, the group has a strong presence on the Billboard Global charts, with 13 songs charting on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. Despite some declines in chart positions, BTS continues to be a dominant force in the music industry worldwide.
