Viva": Aina Clotet's Directorial Debut Shines at Cannes Critics' Week

Aina Clotet, a Spanish actress, screenwriter, and director, showcases her creative energy in her feature directorial debut, "Viva." The film will have its world premiere at the 65th edition of Cannes Critics’ Week. Clotet stars in and co-wrote the film with Valentina Viso, alongside a cast including Naby Dakhli, Marc Soler, Willy Toledo, and Lloll Bertrán. The story follows Nora, a 40-year-old woman who, after a near-death experience, seeks to feel alive by engaging in passionate relationships with two contrasting men, Tom and Max, reflecting her inner conflict.
"Viva" was produced by Edmon Roch at Ikiru Films and co-produced by Clotet’s Funicular Films. The film's cinematography is by Nilo Zimmermann, with editing by Aina Calleja. Loco Films is handling international sales for the movie.
