Florida State Seminoles Recruiting Update: Targeting Speedy Wide Receiver Kaden Howard for #Tribe27

The Florida State Seminoles are gearing up for a crucial phase in their recruiting efforts as they aim to improve their standing in the class rankings. With #Tribe27 slipping out of the top 30, the Seminoles have an opportunity to make strides this summer. The coaching staff is preparing to host a growing number of official visitors in Tallahassee, with more names being added to the list.

In recent weeks, Florida State has extended several new scholarship offers, potentially leading to an influx of recruits visiting the campus in May and June. One of the latest offers went to three-star wide receiver Kaden Howard, who is currently committed to Nebraska. Howard, a speedy rising senior from South Florida, showcased his athleticism on the track by winning his regional championship with an impressive 10.37 100-meter dash.

Despite his commitment to Nebraska, Howard is exploring other options and has official visits scheduled to Nebraska and UCF next month. With the offer from Florida State now on the table, there is a possibility that Howard could consider adding the Seminoles to his list of visits. In his junior season at Miami Palmetto Senior High School, Howard put up solid numbers, recording 25 catches for 510 yards and seven touchdowns, along with contributing in the rushing game.

Ranked as the No. 1029 overall prospect, the No. 125 wide receiver, and the No. 109 recruit in Florida for the 2027 class by the 247Sports Composite Ratings, Howard brings a mix of speed and playmaking ability to the table. Florida State currently has six verbal commitments in #Tribe27, which currently sits at No. 38 in the national rankings. As the Seminoles continue to pursue top talent, the addition of players like Howard could help bolster their recruiting class and elevate their standing in the rankings.
