The Rolling Stones Set to Release New Album 'Foreign Tongues' in 2026

The Rolling Stones are set to release a new album titled "Foreign Tongues" in 2026, marking their first album since "Hackney Diamonds" in 2023. The album will feature former Beatles member Paul McCartney, along with other notable artists like Robert Smith, Chad Smith, and Steve Winwood. Additionally, it will include the final recording with the band's late drummer, Charlie Watts, who passed away in 2021.

Scheduled to be released on July 10, 2026, by Polydor and Geffen, "Foreign Tongues" will offer a glimpse of what's to come with the release of two singles, "In the Stars" and "Rough and Twisted," on May 5, 2026. Andrew Watt, who previously worked on "Hackney Diamonds," returns as the producer for the album.

While the band's 2026 tour plans were canceled due to Keith Richards' inability to commit to the rigors of touring, it remains uncertain if they will tour in support of "Foreign Tongues." With Mick Jagger and Keith Richards both in their 80s, the band has had to adjust their touring schedule over the years. Their previous tour, the Hackney Diamonds Tour, took place in 2024 across North America, featuring 20 shows from April to July.
