Alabama Football Schedule Changes: Series Against Oklahoma State Canceled for 2028 and 2029
Alabama football has made changes to its schedule by canceling a series against Oklahoma State in 2028 and 2029. The decision was influenced by the SEC's move to a nine-game conference schedule, which led both Alabama and Oklahoma State to seek home games during the same season. As a result, Oklahoma State replaced Alabama with a home-and-home series against Michigan State. The cancellation of the series with Oklahoma State was done by mutual agreement, avoiding any penalty fees outlined in the game contract. Alabama's non-conference schedule for 2028 now consists of all home games, including matchups against Tennessee-Martin, Georgia State, and Ohio State. The Crimson Tide will travel to Columbus for the first game of the home-and-home series with Ohio State in 2027, with a road game against Notre Dame scheduled for 2029.
