Tommy Ng Kai Chung's debut as a director, Another World, initially began as a short film that gained significant recognition at international festivals in 2019. The success of the short film led to the development of a feature-length animated movie based on Naka Saijo's novel Sennenki. Another World received critical acclaim and won the prestigious Golden Horse award for Best Animated Feature in Chinese-language cinema. It also became the highest-grossing animated film in Hong Kong's history. The film is set to premiere in North American theaters on June 5.
