National Memorial Day Concert 2026: Honoring America's Heroes in the 250th Anniversary Celebration
Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna will once again host PBS's National Memorial Day Concert, a special event this year as America celebrates its 250th anniversary. The concert will feature a talented ensemble cast paying tribute to America's fallen heroes, including Noah Wyle, Melissa Leo, Andy Grammer, and more. The show will honor the sacrifice of service men and women and their families live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol on Sunday, May 24th at 8/7c.
Mantegna expressed his gratitude for the heroic service and sacrifice of the military and their families as the nation marks 250 years. The concert will honor all American heroes, from the all-volunteer force of the American Revolution to the men and women who have given their lives since the nation's founding.
Sinise and Mantegna are honored to co-host the 37-year tradition at the U.S. Capitol and salute those who have worn the uniform, past and present, along with their families. The concert will feature six different segments, including tributes to the American Revolution, WWII, the 9/11 attacks, Vietnam War veterans, and Gold Star families.
