Florida State Seminoles Target Four-Star Defensive Lineman Karlos May for Recruiting Class

The Florida State Seminoles are making progress in securing commitments from their top targets as they aim to improve their class rankings. The team is gearing up for a series of official visits starting later this month and continuing into June.

One of the latest additions to Florida State's recruiting list is four-star defensive lineman Karlos May, who is set to visit the Seminoles from May 29-31. May, a highly sought-after prospect, has included FSU in his top 5 choices alongside Georgia, Auburn, Ohio State, and Ole Miss.

It is crucial for Florida State's coaching staff to make a strong impression on May during his visit, as he will also be visiting other top programs in June. May, who stands at 6-foot-3.5 and weighs 305 pounds, is ranked as the No. 182 overall prospect, the No. 22 defensive lineman, and the No. 8 recruit in Alabama for the 2027 class.

During his junior season at Ramsay High School, May showcased his skills with impressive stats, including 43 tackles, eight tackles for loss, four sacks, and two interceptions. He is known for his strong performance on the field and is a key target for the Seminoles.

Florida State currently has six verbal commitments in their recruiting class, which is ranked No. 39 in the country. The Seminoles are looking to add top talent to their roster and continue to build a competitive team for the upcoming seasons.
