Kelly Clarkson Returns to The Voice for Season 30: Balancing Family and Career

Kelly Clarkson is set to make a comeback to The Voice as a coach for Season 30, reuniting with Adam Levine. NBC confirmed her return with a post on Instagram showcasing her past moments on the show. Clarkson's decision to return coincides with her choice to end her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, to focus on spending more time with her two children after the loss of their father, Brandon Blackstock, to melanoma last August at age 48. The show will continue to air through Fall 2026, allowing Clarkson to prioritize her children, daughter River, 11, and son Remington, 9. Ending the show will enable her to be more present for her children as they navigate life after their father's passing. The Kelly Clarkson Show, which premiered in 2019, has been a daytime success, earning Clarkson 24 Daytime Emmy Awards, including four consecutive wins for Outstanding Talk Show Host.
