Phil Collins to be Inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2026: Oasis Reunited and More Icons Join the Class

Phil Collins, the renowned singer-songwriter, is set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2026 for his solo work, following his previous induction with Genesis in 2010. In a recent interview with Eddie Trunk on Sirius XM’s Trunk Nation, Collins expressed his surprise and gratitude for the honor. He had not expected to be recognized and was pleased to be acknowledged by the panel. The class of 2026 will also include icons like Iron Maiden, Luther Vandross, Wu-Tang Clan, and Joy Division/New Order, among others.

Despite their previous criticism of industry accolades, Oasis, who reunited in 2025, have also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Liam Gallagher, the band's frontman, shared his excitement about the honor on social media. However, some notable artists like Mariah Carey, Jeff Buckley, and Lauryn Hill were not included in this year's list of nominees. Collins, who has faced health challenges and undergone multiple knee surgeries, remains positive about his career and has no regrets about his journey in music.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 14th at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. It is yet to be confirmed whether Phil Collins will be in attendance for the event. Despite his health issues, Collins continues to appreciate his musical legacy and the recognition he has received throughout his career.
