Super Why's Comic Book Adventures: A New Chapter in Literacy Education
Super Why’s Comic Book Adventures is set to premiere on PBS KIDS on October 5, 2026. This new animated series expands the world of Super Why!, the popular educational superhero show that has been on air since 2007. Produced by 9 Story Media Group and animated by Brown Bag Films in Toronto, the series will continue to focus on literacy and reading skills for preschool and kindergarten-aged viewers. The characters, including Super Why, Wonder Red, Princess Presto, Alpha Pig, and newcomer Power Paige, will embark on missions in Reader Valley to combat villains causing language and spelling chaos.
The villains in the series, such as The Eraser, Mr. More, The Shuffler, and Outta Space, create havoc by manipulating letters and sounds. The Super Readers must work together to correct these mistakes and restore order in Reader Valley. The show's comic book-inspired format aims to engage young audiences and foster a love for reading.
