Kelly Clarkson is set to return as a coach for the 30th season of The Voice this autumn, marking her eleventh season on the show. She will be joined by Adam Levine, with two more coaches yet to be announced. The show will go back to its standard four-chair panel after the three-coach format of season 29. Despite considering an all-stars season for the milestone 30th cycle, producers decided against it. The premiere date for the new season has not been revealed.

This announcement comes as Clarkson's talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, is set to end after seven seasons and 24 Daytime Emmy Awards. Clarkson cited family reasons for the decision to end the show, emphasizing that it was not due to any professional dissatisfaction. The show's success, including four consecutive wins for outstanding talk show host, made the decision difficult but ultimately necessary for Clarkson as a mother.

The conclusion of The Kelly Clarkson Show will also mark the end of NBCUniversal's entire syndicated talk programming slate. The network's syndication division is restructuring to align with the preferences of local stations.
