Buc-ee's Expansion: New Locations Across the U.S. and Future Openings

Buc-ee's, known for its Beaver Nuggets, is expanding its presence beyond the current dozen states where it operates. The travel center recently opened its first location in Ohio, with impressive sales on the opening day in Huber Heights. More grand openings are planned, including the first store in Arizona in late June and in Arkansas in August. Wisconsin, Louisiana, and Kansas are also on track to get their first Buc-ee's in 2027, while North Carolina is set to open its doors in the fourth quarter of the same year. Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, and Florida are among the states expecting new Buc-ee's locations next year. However, construction delays have affected some openings, with Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas facing delays in their Buc-ee's projects. Despite these setbacks, residents in Ocala, Florida, can look forward to a Buc-ee's opening in 2028, with more locations expected to follow in 2029 and beyond. Buc-ee's typically takes 18 to 24 months to build a travel center once construction begins.
