Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Stars Reflect on Friendship and Parenthood
Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, along with her Jersey Shore: Family Vacation co-stars Deena Cortese and Angelina Pivarnick, reminisced about their long-lasting friendship and the different stages of life they are currently experiencing. Giancola shared her joy at witnessing her son's milestones, as he recently started crawling, and expressed her amazement at how quickly time is passing by. She welcomed her son, Vincent Keith May, in August 2025 with her husband, Justin May, after a challenging journey to parenthood.
As they navigate parenthood, Cortese and Pivarnick have also transitioned from their partying days to a more family-oriented lifestyle. They enjoy spending time at the boardwalk with their children and appreciate the simpler pleasures of life, such as good company, wine, and music. Giancola emphasized the importance of being surrounded by loved ones, whether at the shore or around a fire pit, to create lasting memories and moments of joy.
Giancola introduced her fiancé, Justin May, to the public in 2021, and they got engaged in March 2024. The trio of friends, Giancola, Cortese, and Pivarnick, continue to cherish their bond and the new chapter of life they are embarking on as parents. With their children by their side, they find happiness in the simple pleasures of life, like gathering around a fire pit with wine and s'mores, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
