The Mystery Machine: One Direction's Custom Tour Van for Sale in Northumberland

A unique van that was customised to transport One Direction members during their tours is now up for sale at a Northumberland garage. The 2012 Volkswagen Crafter, known as 'The Mystery Machine,' was transformed into a luxurious tour bus for Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. The van, designed by Yiannimize, features a comic-book themed ceiling and diamond-stitched leather captain's seats with the band members' initials embroidered on them. Equipped with a large Sony TV, XBOX 360, Nintendo Wii, Super Nintendo, integrated fridge, and microwave, this van is a true entertainment hub with only 5,029 miles on it.
Currently listed for sale at GH Car Sales in Clifton, Morpeth, the asking price for this unique vehicle is £39,999. Sales Manager Eddie McCartney described the van as a special and one-of-a-kind vehicle that attracts attention from visitors. He mentioned that it's more of a showpiece than a practical vehicle for everyday use and could be a great addition to a car collection. GH Car Sales acquired the van in a specialist sale about six months ago and has since repaired the electrics to ensure its functionality.
Eddie McCartney expressed his hope that either Louis or Zayn would come across the van and consider purchasing it for their car collection. He emphasized the uniqueness and appeal of the van, suggesting that it could be a great prop for the right person. While there is no rush to sell the van due to its exceptional nature, GH Car Sales is open to offers from potential buyers who appreciate its history and design. The 'Mystery Machine' is not just a vehicle but a piece of pop culture history waiting for the right owner to cherish and enjoy.
