Conecta Fiction & Entertainment is celebrating its 10th edition by hosting the event in Magaluf-Mallorca for the first time. The event, now known as Conecta Magaluf-Mallorca, will take place from May 25-28 at the Meliá Calvià Beach Hotel. The program includes industry panels, workshops, screenings, matchmaking sessions, and closed-door executive exchanges, focusing on key business topics such as AI, vertical microdramas, IP control, financing, commissioners, formats, and the creator economy.

Conecta Magaluf-Mallorca is part of Event Conecta, a platform by Inside Content that connects creativity, business, and technology across Europe and the Americas. The 10th edition will bring together industry professionals such as producers, distributors, commissioners, investors, broadcasters, streamers, digital creators, and market analysts to explore new production models, financing routes, and international partnerships.

The event will feature over 40 activities with nearly 100 speakers, highlighting the industry's key players, including creators, distributors, commissioners, investors, producers, and digital content creators. A special public screening of the series "Many People Need to Die" will be showcased, along with discussions on AI, vertical microdramas, market intelligence, commissioners' priorities, entertainment formats, and financing for audiovisual projects.

Conecta will offer curated access through the Conecta Summit, a closed-door session for senior international executives, and the Conecta Creative Lab, an international think tank. The event will also address commissioning priorities, entertainment formats, and the future of linear players versus digital-first talent. Emerging talent will be showcased through the Pitch Talent session, featuring screenwriters and creatives selected by screenwriting labs.

The move to Magaluf is part of a broader effort to reposition the destination through culture, sport, and the screen industries. Local and regional authorities see events like Conecta as opportunities to showcase the islands as a hub for the creative industry on an international scale. The event in Magaluf-Mallorca signifies a milestone for Conecta as it continues to serve as a vital forum for the international content business, bringing together industry professionals and fostering collaboration and innovation in the industry.
