DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation Unveil Exciting Lineup at Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2026

DC fans are in for a treat at this year's Annecy International Animation Film Festival. Warner Bros. Animation and DC Studios have announced their lineup for the event, which includes the world premiere of Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, a new multi-part animated film event. Attendees can also expect exclusive first looks and behind-the-scenes sneak peeks at DC Universe series such as Mister Miracle, My Adventures with Green Lantern, Starfire!, Creature Commandos, and Batman: Caped Crusader.
Batman: Knightfall is a three-feature animated series produced by WB Animation, DC Studios, and Warner Home Entertainment. It is based on the iconic 1993–1994 Batman story arc that focuses on the Batman villain Bane, which inspired Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises (2012). The studio's Annecy panel will be hosted by Peter Safran, co-chairman and co-CEO at DC Studios, and Sam Register, president at Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios, and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, along with executive producers of the featured series.
In addition to the DC content, Cartoon Network will showcase its new Adult Swim series, SuperMutant Magic Academy, while Warner Bros. Animation and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe will present their original half-hour comedies, Living the Dream and Keeping Up With The Joneses. Living the Dream is an eight-part workplace sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe for Netflix, following two friends navigating social media jobs at an eco-startup in London. Keeping Up With The Joneses, created for Adult Swim, follows the Newberry family as they try to keep up with their wealthy Dallas neighbors, including Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys.
The 2026 Annecy Film Festival will take place from June 21 to 27. Fans of DC and animation enthusiasts can look forward to an exciting lineup of premieres, sneak peeks, and behind-the-scenes insights at this year's event.
