Liminal": A Sci-Fi Action Film Set in New York Starring Vanessa Kirby and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II

Filming is currently in progress in New York for the sci-fi action film "Liminal," directed by Louis Leterrier of "Fast X" and "The Incredible Hulk" fame. The movie stars Vanessa Kirby from "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II from "Wonder Man" and "Man on Fire." Kirby was spotted on set wearing a dark jumpsuit and performing running and action sequences. The project is supported by Apple Studios and is based on the AWA graphic novel "Telepaths" by J. Michael Straczynski, Steve Epting, and Brian Reber. The story follows a group of newly telepathic individuals who must navigate a world where their powers make them targets.
The plot kicks off when an electromagnetic disturbance triggers telepathic abilities in a portion of the Earth's population. Boston police officers with newfound telepathic powers are pitted against a wrongly convicted prisoner who becomes a hero and leads other telepaths in their quest to escape persecution. The film explores the dynamic between these two characters as they navigate a world where trust is crucial for their survival. Justin Rhodes, known for "Terminator: Dark Fate," wrote the screenplay, with Zach Studin and Kevin Walsh serving as producers. "Liminal" is set to premiere on Apple TV next year.
