Lucky Red Acquires 'The Golden Age': A Unique Blend of Fiction and Archival Footage

Italy's Lucky Red has acquired the film "The Golden Age" ahead of its world premiere at Cannes Classics. The movie, directed by Berenger Thouin, is a unique blend of fiction and archival footage from the Gaumont Pathé Archives. It follows the life of a woman who dreams of becoming a countess and navigates through the major historical events of the 20th century. The film stars Souheila Yacoub, Vassili Schneider, Yile Yara Vianello, and Pierre-Antoine Billon.

"The Golden Age" took 10 years to make and combines contemporary scenes shot in France, Italy, and Brazil with historical footage from various significant events. The movie is a production of GoGoGo Films in France and Graffiti Film in Italy, with Pyramide Distribution handling the release in France. Lucky Red's founder and CEO, Andrea Occhipinti, expressed his admiration for the film, calling it an incredible experience.
