Provincewide Amber Alert Issued for Abducted Children in Northern B.C.
Terrace RCMP has issued a provincewide Amber Alert for two abducted children who were last seen in the northern B.C. city on Monday night. The missing children, Raina and Mathias Wood, are three and a half-year-old twins with blonde hair and blue eyes. Raina was wearing pink pants, while Mathias was in beige pants when they were last seen. The police suspect that the children's mother, Tova Josephine Wood, is responsible for the abduction. Tova is described as five feet six inches tall, 141 pounds, with light brown hair past her shoulders. Investigators believe that Tova may be travelling with the children in a red 2015 Dodge Caravan with B.C. licence plate ME538F.
The Amber Alert issued by the Terrace RCMP covers all of British Columbia. If anyone spots the vehicle, Tova, or the children, they are urged not to approach and to call 9-1-1 immediately. This is a developing story, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
