Sinqua Walls Joins Cast of Man of Tomorrow: Superman Sequel Update

Sinqua Walls has been announced as the newest addition to the cast of Man of Tomorrow, the upcoming Superman sequel currently in production in Atlanta. Specific details about his character remain undisclosed. DC Studios declined to provide any comments regarding his casting.
Walls is known for his roles in popular TV shows like Friday Night Lights and the Peacock limited series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, where he starred alongside Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, and Don Cheadle. He also headlined the Hulu remake of White Men Can’t Jump and appeared in the Netflix film Carry-On and horror comedy The Blackening. In 2022, he starred opposite Brian Cox in the drama feature Mending the Line.
Man of Tomorrow, directed and written by James Gunn, serves as a sequel to the previous Superman film. David Corenswet reprises his role as Superman, while Nicholas Hoult returns as Lex Luthor. The storyline involves the two enemies teaming up to combat the threat posed by Brainiac, portrayed by Lars Eidinger. The cast also includes Adria Arjona, Aaron Pierre, Rachel Brosnahan, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, and Edi Gathegi.
The film is scheduled for release on July 9, 2027, following the 2026 DC titles Supergirl and Clayface, as well as the upcoming TV series Lanterns. Sinqua Walls is represented by WME, Nava Artists, and Jackoway Austen.
