Symbioz Films: A New Frontier in Storytelling

Symbioz Films, a new production company founded by a producer and sales executive, is set to manage approximately 10 fiction and documentary projects annually. The company's first project is the feature documentary "Techplomacy" by Susanne Kovács, which explores the story of Denmark's 'tech ambassador' Anne Marie Engtoft Meldgaard. The film premiered at CPH: DOX earlier this year, and Symbioz Films holds the world rights for the project, excluding Denmark.
The founder of Symbioz Films, who previously co-founded and served as CEO of the sales division of Syndicado, now rebranded as Verità Films, aims to support a diverse range of voices and projects in both documentary and fiction genres. The company's vision is to expand its portfolio and provide a platform for unique storytelling.
In addition to documentary projects, Symbioz Films is also involved in producing the fiction feature "Petroleo" by Alvaro Pulpeiro. The film, produced by Xavi Font, marks Pulpeiro's directorial debut and promises to be an exciting addition to the company's growing slate of projects. "Petroleo" was previously part of Syndicado's sales lineup but has now returned to the producer's control.
Symbioz Films is dedicated to nurturing creative talent and bringing compelling stories to audiences worldwide. With a commitment to supporting both documentary and fiction projects, the company is poised to make a significant impact in the film industry.
