Tragic Shooting Incident in Shawnee Neighborhood: Man Killed, Suspect Charged
A shooting incident in the Shawnee neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, resulted in the death of a man on May 1, 2026. The victim, identified as Tyler Wall, 33, was found shot in the 600 block of South 38th Street around 9:30 p.m. The Jefferson County Coroner confirmed his death at the scene. The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Jared Fields, fled the area after the shooting. Fields has since been charged with 2nd-degree manslaughter.
