Burglary Suspect Arrested in Fairhaven: Man Faces Charges for Break-in at Local Business
A man from Fairhaven is facing multiple charges following a recent burglary at a local business. The Dartmouth Police Department responded to an alarm at Pearl Vision Center on Faunce Corner Road in Dartmouth. Upon arrival, officers found the front door smashed and glass display cases damaged, with a significant amount of merchandise missing. The police began searching the area and Officer Peter Canuel spotted a man, later identified as Andre Kerman, riding a bicycle nearby. Kerman attempted to flee but was apprehended with a backpack containing stolen sunglasses worth $51,000. He confessed to using a sledgehammer to break into the business and was charged with various offenses related to the burglary.
