Lee Grant Appointed as New Head Coach of Walsall Football Club
Walsall Football Club has announced the appointment of Lee Grant as their new head coach. Grant, who previously managed Huddersfield Town, has agreed to a three-year contract at the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium. He takes over from Darren Byfield, a former player, who was serving as the interim coach until the end of the season after Mat Sadler's dismissal in March. The team ended the League Two season in 13th place, missing out on the play-offs by 13 points despite being at the top of the table at Christmas.
