Tragic Discovery: Missing Paddleboarder Found Deceased on Graham Lake
A paddleboarder who had been missing for ten days on Graham Lake in Hancock County was found on Friday evening. The individual, identified as 20-year-old Grayson Mote from Ellsworth, had disappeared while paddleboarding on May 5th. The search efforts involved multiple agencies, including the Maine Warden Service, Ellsworth police and fire departments, Maine Marine Patrol, Maine State Police, Maine Forest Service, and volunteers. Tragically, Mote's body was discovered by his family members who were still searching for him, about 2/10 of a mile from the lake's shore. The Maine Marine Patrol recovered the body and transported it to the medical examiner's office.
