Bath Village Police Chief Donald Lewis confirmed that the person in the video is likely Daddy Dave, whose real name is David Comstock. The police press release stated that Dave was recorded placing the tracking device under the vehicle. However, Daddy Dave denied the allegations, stating, "It's not me. You guys are barking up the wrong tree."
Following the incident, the footage shows the suspect quickly leaving the scene, with a police officer and two unidentified individuals arriving to investigate. Subsequently, the suspect was arrested, and the video captures officers leading the individual away in handcuffs on the street. Daddy Dave was later booked on charges of stalking and criminal tampering, but has since been released.
